Mirage Systems Inc., is a privately held California company that was founded in 1984 through the acquisition of an R&D Engineering Defense Contract from Stanford Research Institute (SRI). Through 1999 the Company developed and delivered radar and counter measure systems in its execution of numerous contracts with government defense and non-defense agencies.
Since 2000, the Company focused on delivery of two major systems:
- A Compact GPSAR system for Unmanned and Ultralight Aircraft
- A Blackhawk Helicopter mounted GPSAR system which can operate at altitudes from 1,000 to 5,000 ft and speeds ranging from 15 to 50 knots while delivering 3-Dimensional images with centimeter accuracy.
